Conform: Escapism LP (Delsin) Possibly the most optimistic techno album I've heard in a while. Crisp widescreen production, utopian ideals and melodies that spiral off into vapour trails all laced with judicious touches of low-end pressure. The title track got the most repeats; syncopated shuffle, melodies with intrigue and an air of bravado. Other tracks prove that the craft of dance music composition hasn't been diluted by time or technology. And despite preferring vinyl, the CD version boasts an additional two tracks, one of which is the evocative / introverted pulse of 'Within'.
