Listening to a recording of storms during an actual storm might seem a bit retarded, but such is the overwhelming sonic power of this album that the visual accompaniment of a heavy rain lashing down over N10 seemed to make total sense.


This has ex-Cabaret Voltaire member / sound wildlife recordist Chris Watson and accomplished sound artist BJ Nilsen chasing a singular cyclonic storm pattern across Europe. Violent crashing waves that culminate into a majestic crescendo of white noise. Up close (and slightly creepy) sounds of local wildlife as they groan. Interspersed with unsettling moments of natural silence.
