Wilson Pickett R.I.P.

Difficult to put into words how much of this man's music is lodged in my brain. Intently watching the vinyl spin on our wood-panelled Sanyo turntable system in the front room of 27 Adelaide Road, Leyton in East London sometime in the mid-seventies is my memory....and one that I'm grateful to him for.

He will be missed.
